Joyful memories.

Today, I realised that I haven't been blogging for so long (a month) that blogger forgot about me! o: Like, it doesn't save my email and everything anymore )): Oh wells I guess its my fault. Opps. Anw, I'm blogging today about OG 23's awesome house-visiting at Lo Yee's house!

So on the 16th, this whole group of us trouped to Lo Yee's house bus stop (:

I met Benedict and Ming Yang at Woodlands first cause I didn't know how to get to the bus stop; thanks you two for waiting for me! Then we bused there and Benedict almost got us off the bus 2 stops early, haha. We were apparently the first ones there, then Lo Yee came strolling to the bus stop with her nose in her phone, and then we waited for everybody else: Shuyi, Xinyuan, Benjamin, Junxian Junrong, Peishan (this girl overshot the bus stop despite noticing me haha), Yingyen, Kok Joon! I don't think I missed out anyone.

Oh yeah, and Jun Rong was all about traditions and good luck and shook everybody's hand to say happy new year! Its terribly similar to how my relatives does things o:

Yup then we walked to Lo Yee's house and we were so nervous/hesitant about entering her house. We all took off shoes and stoned at the entrance, lololol. But we got in in the end and we wished her mum and grandma a happy new year! And we got hongbaos ^^V Then after sitting around the tv for 5 minutes watching some chn8 show which I watched before (and everybody stared at me when I knew what was going to happen next in the show) Lo Yee and Peishan decided that we should camp in Lo Yee's bedroom to play or something. Which turned out to be a really bad idea cause 1. her room was quite small for 11 people, and 2. all her stuff was closely scrutinised by everyone!

So then we went back out to the living room and we played monopoly.

Apparently loads of people forgot how to play it exactly alr. I mean like, 2 or 3's considered quite a lot right? o: Peishan was the banker who conveniently didn't remember how much each player was supposed to get. And oh we paired up cause there were too many people. I was with Junxian, Lo Yee with Benedict, Xinyuan with Shuyi, Kok Joon with Ming Yang, Junrong with Benjamin. Yingyen came later and joined Peishan as banker (and who both got distracted by UNO stacko which will be further elaborated on later).

So um there were many fun moments! Like eg. selling off some property for 6k aided by Junxian and I. Junrong and Benjamin were the buyers while Shuyi and Xinyuan were the sellers. Haha it was totally a rip-off but after they set up a house there it was quite ex to land there for the night okay!! And of course there were many jail incidents some of which were totally laughable because of the situations.

Benedict: "Eh you can't get rent when you're in jail!" (I think)

Junrong: "lets change the rules!"

Benedict: "No cannot!"

A few rounds after that Benedict and Lo Yee got into jail and lost quite a substantial amount of rent, LOL.

Then after that most people were starving so we finished it up and had spaghetti!

Lo Yee's maid's quite a good cook :D So then the guys piled their plates (Lo Yee and I were the servers) and they sat at the sofa, so we girls were on the floor eating. Then Peishan was like eh you guys so ungentlemanly one, make us sit on the floor! So then they got off and we were so embarrassed to take the seats, haha. We were like don't need luh, we were joking! Our butts are alr planted on the floor and you want us to stand up and get onto the sofa.. Then some of the guys totally copied our line and was like but we got off alr and our butts are alr on the floor so you all just get up there luh!

After lunch we decided to open our gambling dens and play bridge! Some people didn't know how to so there was this attachment-to-a-pro system going on. Then while we played we decided to watch Peishan's pirated CDs, haha. 200 pound beauty was the most popular so we watched it while playing, and then in the end we abandoned cards to watch the show, heh. At first cause of bridge-playing we decided to give up the 2+pm movie for the 4pm one, but after 200 pound beauty ended it was like 3+ so we totally freaked and chionged out of the house down the lift across the road to the overhead bridge! Then while we were half way across the bridge Benjamin with the awesome eyesight was like EH 171 and Peishan and some people totally RANNNNNN after it and surprisingly we caught the bus!

So we were feeling so happy with ourselves and we got seats and was very happy when the bus went off really fast. But the bus driver was really PMSy and he kept going fast and slow at alternate times! Then Junrong was totally pissed with the bus driver and there were some funny incidents which shall not be mentioned, haha. So then we decided that the train would pose a greater opportunity for us to catch the movie!

So we got off at Newton and ran for the train ("Peishan stop the train for us please!") which said "arriving in 1 min" and got to Plaza Sing on time! So then we ran like crazy to The Cathay in two groups cause Peishan was heavily relied on to stop the movie (someone commented that Peishan was stopping really lot of things that day and suggested that she stop the movie) and get our tickets and I was after her but by the time we reached there half dead they were sold out )): Then Lo Yee (crazily) decided to go 7-eleven to get timings from a newspaper cause nobody had an iphone, haha. And I bet the cashier was wondering what the hell this whole group of people were doing huddling around newspapers.

There was this 5pm slot at Cineleisure for Valentine's day so we totally brisk walked and jay-walked and got ourselves ASAP to the bus stop and we bused there before rushing to the basement box office where we were greeted by a long queue. So then we decided that the guys will go up and buy tickets and we reached the counters at the same time (we communicated through phone calls). There were only single separate seats left and so the guys suggested that we could just buy them, get ourselves into the cinema and sit on the floor/steps at the back when the movie starts, which was what we settled on.

So we were loitering around outside so as to aim our timings properly that the movie will start when we enter. But we were too early and I think someone complained or something and the usher came in and shooed us all back to our seats D: So we split up and I was with Junxian Peishan Yingyen and we found 4 unoccupied seats! Then Peishan suggested that we sit there until someone claimed those seats. But just after we sat down the owners of the seats came and we had to get out, it was so embarrassing! Then we found 4 seats that were not for sale cause Peishan said they were blocked seats or something like that, so we sat there for the whole movie eating popcorn and laughing :D
