Hello there, all you have to know is that I'm going on seventeen and that I bite.
I like school a lot because of my very hyper/funny classmates, tablemates especially.
Flipping and being out of gravity's reach momentarily gives me a thrill sometimes.
I love being in planes too cause its something I rarely experience.
And I've figured that though the Earth may be trembling, all is fine.
So, there's enough rambling.

Memories assaulted me relentlessly, caressing the desperate torture reflected in my eyes lovingly.

Seeing that Zoe has been so nice to tag on my board in an attempt to keep my blog alive, I shall do a post before blocks kill me totally(:

So the main highlight of this blogpost is monday!
I reached school at like 7.15, and I saw this Jodi Picoult book on her table. Then we started discussing about books in general, and poor Maria was practically going berserk over what her friend did to her precious book (soaked in water - not literally, but you get the point -, killed the book spine, and did not say sorry). Then Amelia came to join us and we discussed about JP's style of writing and the recent (or not so recent) craze about her books, and Nora Roberts of course, and how they weren't that nice except a specific few. Apparently Amelia's more critical of her writing, she finds it way too drama. But for emotional readers like Zoe and I, its perfectly fine(: I just find it a bit too draggy, not much of my taste. Unless you add in topics/characters I like, like in Handle with Care how Amelia (the other daughter) became bulimic. It was really a great insight and all.
Then as I got carried away with this conversation, suddenly Minyi was looming over me with her itouch and I realised 7.30 practically flew to reach me. And we walked down to the track and then we did voting!

Interesting stuff at the track:
The sec2s were sitting in this circle with Minyi and I; going clockwise from my left, Shuan Hwee, Trudy, Zest, Vanessa, Minyi and me. So they were discussing about this Geography assignment which was so bloody easy as compared to what we did last time (counting cars and doing statistics indeed), and I was trying to remember geog to help them with it. Haha. Then suddenly Zest realised there were loads of ants behind her, and she practically stood up and screamed (and tried to run away). Minyi and I were looking on with half-amused, half-bewildered faces. And I educated her on ant mentality (which made Minyi laugh like crazy).

"Ants move around you, they don't move to you. Unless you start screaming and stepping on them then more will come."

So then she sat back down but away from them. Haha. Zoe totally did that too while we were counting votes/discussing can! -rolls eyes- She was even more extreme, running all the way to the bi-polar part of the circle we made.

Hmm, I can't remember any more interesting stuffs. So I shall skip to Chemistry.
So like during lunch, Mengjie, Chuxi, Shimun and I were crowding around Chuxi's table doing bio worksheet while the rest of the class were at the canteen eating, then Eric Tan came into class.

Eric Tan: Uhhhh, Meng... Mengjie? Can you do me a favour?
(everybody stares up at him)

Eric Tan: Can you help me write on the board that there will be a chem quiz on Friday?

Me: Okayyyyy, Mr Tan you can go write it there yourself!

ET: I have to go down the level to tell them, no time!

Mengjie: Oh okay. Eh then you can tell the class later during class what! (Cause after lunch its chem lesson)

ET: Uhhh. -pauses- I don't want to waste time during class! I want to rush through the lesson.

(everybody gives him this o.o + skeptical look but keeps quiet)

ET: Thanks. (and he exits)

So then Mengjie went to the whiteboard and wrote down chem quiz on the assignment schedule and on the centre as well so that people will notice. And then we were saying he'll definitely mention it in class again cause he always repeats himself. And so he did. See how well we know him((:

Then after that Chuxi and Jiamin went down to the canteen to buy food and I asked them to help me buy Pokey. So then I was eating while he had lesson, haha. He gave us class time to do worksheet 17? from like around 1.45pm to 2.05pm I think. While he was giving us instructions Sheryl saw me eating and asked me to give her some, so I threw the whole box to the back of the class when ET's back was turned. Then after that we were doing the worksheet while he walked around the class, and he saw Sheryl eating.

ET: Waa Sheryl, very pokey ah!

And the whole class was wondering what he meant except Sheryl, Jiamin, Maria, Huaimin and I (those people who saw me throwing) and we burst out into sheepish laughter. Haha. He didn't catch me eating though :D

So at around 2+pm he walked to the front of the class and said we'll be going through the worksheet. But obviously while he was walking around the class we were talking to him, so he got all distracted and started talking about how he studied physics and chem and C and F math when he was in St. Andrews JC. Then he started telling us about his studying experiences!

ET: Okay, let me tell you how I studied for eoys in the past. -glances at clock- Okay lets not have lesson today can?

(class cheers and listens eagerly to his secret to studying)

ET: So lets say you end school at 2 right? Then you reach home at around 3, you go and bathe. Then you go and get lunch. And then what do you do? You don't study immediately. You must take your time and? -looks pointedly at us-

Tingshan: Sleep!

ET: YESSS. You go and sleep! Of course, cause you all are ladies so you might be sensitive about your -motions at body figure- I shan't say cause this is a... sensitive topic, but you all know what I'm saying right! So maybe you all eat a bit only, then you go and sleep. Give yourself 1 hour, wake up at 4+.

(Then everybody starts rolling our eyes and going "we'll sleep and wake up at 7+ instead of 4+")

ET: That's why you need discipline! If you wake up at 7 its gone case already. So you wake up at 4+ - (more complaints about this being impossible but was ignored) - what do you do?

Someone: SLEEP.

(laughter erupts on cue while ET smirks)

ET: No! You go study. Then at around 6 or 7+, you go wait for your dinner! Then you eat your dinner, and what do you do after dinner?

Someone: Sleep?

ET: No, you continue studying! Then one hour plus later, you stop and then you?

-silence-

ET: WATCH THE NEWS.

(What the, Mr Tan! WHO WATCHES THE NEWS DURING EOYS.)

ET: Go watch the news! Then you can relax and learn about stuff for GP (blabla). Then after that you study from 10.30 till all the way.

TS: Huh, but you study so little hours only!

ET: No, where got!

Someone: What time do you study until?

ET: 2 oclock?

(gasps everywhere)
(And then we spammed asked him what time he woke up. Which was 6 oclock, so apparently he survives on 4 hours of sleep.)

That was basically the interesting part of the day!
I took half an hour to type this, oh my. So anyway, blocks are coming and I'm feeling less-than-friendly towards the computer nowadays so I'm rarely online. So this might be my final post till like 7 August or 10 August?
